Instructions

A short crust pastry using soft table margarine to give a yellow tinted pastry, with a smooth And soft crumb.

Put the soft margarine with 2 tablespoons of flour and the water in a deep mixing bowl.

Cream these ingredients with a fork until well mixed. Still using the fork, work in the remaining flour to form a manageable dough. Turn this on to a floured surface and knead lightly until smooth. Chill for 30 minutes.
